Changes at Shoptown

Welcome to Shoptown! As you may have noticed, should this not be your first visit to our site, we've been making some changes.

First, and most noticeable, is our new look. Our new theme is both easier to use and more pleasant to look at. We welcome your comments and suggestions on it, and over the next few weeks, we'll be making minor adjustments and improvements to it based on your feedback.

The Gothic Webpress has been expanded and upgraded. Now, instead of being limited to a single page, you'll get 5 megabytes of space on our webserver to use for (almost) anything you want. You now also upload your own custom images or HTML code to your website, either over the web or via ftp.

We've added email to Shoptown, too! Now you can get your very own email address at either people.shoptown.com or business.shoptown.com. We suggest you get yours now, before all the good ones are taken.

"Great," you say, "where do I sign up?" You'll want to check in at our new and improved Registration Page. After signing up for a Shoptown Account, you'll be able to use our expanded Profile Center to manage your web page and email account. A note to those with older memberships: you're going to have to register with Shoptown again to obtain a new Shoptown Account. Don't worry, it's easy, free, and you only have to do it once. The benefits that come with it are worth the time.

Web pages and email aren't all you get though; in the coming months, Shoptown is planning to introduce several new free services for our members, including:

• Online discussion forums
• Fully customizable news
• Improved online chat
• Free buisness listings

We've also got a few more things up our sleeves that we're not quite ready to tell you about yet... Keep watching this space and we think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
